The Holbrook Suite
at the
Linekin Bay Bed & Breakfast

"The Holbrook Suite" is our finest room, and is located on the first floor.

We named this suite after Ezekiel Holbrook Jr. and Eliphalet Holbrook (E. & E. Holbrook), the two men responsible for constructing the home over 125 years ago.

This romantic and spacious room has a gorgeous king-size cherry Rice carved post pediment bed. It has luxurious custom bedding by Eastern Accents of Chicago from the Bellfair Bedding Collection.

The bed is situated in the middle of the room and overlooks the sparkling waters of Linekin Bay. The Holbrooke Suite has a large cherry bureau, closet, full length mirror, and a ceiling fan graces the high ceiling.

This room has a chair rail and crafted columns all of which are painted a gleaming China white. Wallpaper graces the walls above the chair rail and is a rich blend of gold, burgundy, white and blues.

Another area of the room is a comfortable sitting area. It has a sofa, which can be pulled out to become a queen-size bed. The sofa faces the window to provide a water view and also faces a Hearthstone gas fireplace.

A wing back chair, television/VCR, and radio/tape/CD player complete the room. The Holbrook Suite, as well as all our guest rooms, has crystal water glasses and wine glasses.

The Holbrook Suite also offers guests one of the most spectacular views of Linekin Bay through its large bay window. Sit back and enjoy the sight of lobster boats in the morning and sail boats in the afternoon.

To the left is a glimpse of the view (right from the bed) that will greet you when you awaken from your restful stay in this suite.

The Hearthstone gas fireplace in the Holbrook Suite has a sandstone and polished granite surface.

The fireplace is easily and safely operated and will conveniently provide you with just the right amount of warmth or romantic atmosphere that you desire.

The spacious and pristine private bath in the Holbrook Suite has a tile floor, antique claw-foot tub, a corner shower and pedestal sink. Creative stencil artistry by Mary Sue Weeks of Decorative Illusions enhances the decor of this lovely bath.

The bathroom also has a window that overlooks Linekin Bay.

A large, private porch furnished with wicker rocking chairs and colorful flowers is the perfect place to sip your morning coffee or relax with a glass of wine as you enjoy the beauty of a spectacular sunset.
