| As a guest at Linekin Bay B&B you will have beautifully landscaped grounds to enjoy. Facing the sparkling water of Linekin Bay is a patio built of bluestone with a pergola above it for shade. Surrounding the patio is the Patio Garden, a lovely garden of perennial flowers. (Visit our Gardens Photo Gallery) | |
| Start your day by relaxing in a chair on the patio while you sip your coffee and read the newspaper. Every morning you can see lobster boats in the bay and enjoy the peacefulness of the Maine coast. After a busy day of exploring, come back to the B&B, sit outdoors on the patio and enjoy one of Larry's delicious desserts and a glass of lemonade. Feel the refreshing sea breeze, watch the sailboats in the bay and see the sunlight shimmering on the water. |

The patio faces to the
west and the sunsets over the bay are spectacular. In the evening witness a
colorful sunset from the patio and reflect on a day that will become a
wonderful memory.
From the patio follow a curving path of bluestone to the Shore Garden. Sit in the Adirondack chairs nestled in the garden while you enjoy the sunshine, the fragrance of the flowers and the water views. Relax with an interesting book and savor a peaceful time to refresh your soul. |
|
There are six gardens of lovely perennial flowers on the grounds of our inn. Catherine Court of Landscape Gardens and Design has designed and planted three gardens and developed a plan to improve three existing gardens. (Visit our Gardens Photo Gallery to see more of our gardens.) |

The Patio and Shore Gardens can be seen from all four guest rooms at the B&B as you look towards Linekin Bay. The front lawn of the B&B also has beautiful trees and gardens. Unwind in a rocking chair on the front porch of our 1878 inn and enjoy the beauty and fragrance of flowers such as the bellflower, snow in summer, chrysanthemum, purple coned flower, geranium, daylily, daisy, and hosta. |

Explore the gardens by the parking lot and see peony, phlox, black-eyed Susan, sedum, Siberian iris, sunflower and sage. Walk over to the old-fashioned cart and enjoy the impatients, astible, hydrangea, foxglove and forget-me-not flowers. On the front lawn of our inn is a magnificent horse chestnut tree, one of the few remaining on the Boothbay peninsula. |
| The coast of Maine is beautiful during all four seasons. In winter our flowers are protected by layers of glistening snow and there are flowers bursting into bloom all through the spring, summer and autumn. Our traditional white clapboard inn is adorned with flower boxes filled with splashes of red and purple flowers. Experience the beauty of our B&B in the peaceful village of East Boothbay. |
