The Common Room located on the first floor, is a place to sit, relax, and perhaps meet and talk with other guests.

In the common room you will find brochures about Boothbay region activities and events, books on Boothbay and Maine, a wide selection of magazines, and videos of the Boothbay region, Maine and popular movies.

The common room has elegant, comfortable seating with toile love seats and wing back chairs. An old-fashioned baby carriage holds menus from area restaurants.

A high ceiling, wide mop board, chair rail and ceiling moldings compliment the mauve walls and combine to showcase the Victorian elegance of this room.

The common room has a warm and cozy fireplace which is always available to our guests. Therefore if the weather is not so warm and cozy, you can be assured that you will always have a place to linger and relax.

Peruse the photo album that shows the renovations at our B&B. Larry will gladly make recommendations and help you plan a fun-filled day.

The guest book is always kept nearby. It provides for interesting reading and is always awaiting another new and different entry!

Start your morning with a cup of coffee, the newspaper, and enjoy the sight of lobster boats as you sit and relax in our light and airy Bay View Room.

This room is lightened by several skylights, creating a bright and pleasant place to enjoy a book or magazine.

The Bay View Room has club and wing back chairs and a Laura Ashley settee providing comfortable seating in front of the large windows. Enjoy the wonderful view of the water and in the evening relax in front of the Vermont style fireplace.

Sit at the farmer’s table in the morning and savor a delicious and hearty breakfast prepared by Larry. In the evening play one of our board games. In the summer choose croquet or bocce to play on our expansive back lawn or sit on the Adirondack chairs and watch the sailboats in the bay.

The Bay View room has a 4.3 cubic foot refrigerator, microwave oven, icemaker, and ice buckets available for the use of our guests.

There is a wired (ethernet) hi-speed internet access point available in this room, for guests who do not have the capability to utilize the wireless internet access that exists throughout the rest of the B&B.

Thank you very much-we had a wonderful time. It was great to get away from the everyday hustle and bustle and be somewhere so relaxing and like a home away from home. We'll be back and we'll spread the word.
