"Crooked Chimney" gets its name from the exposed chimney which "crooks" to the left.

The room is painted a soft sage green. The lovely quilt is adorned with burgundy roses and green vines. Artist Suzanne Norton has hand painted beautiful roses and flowing vines on the walls of the room.

This room has lovely antique furniture from the Waterfall collection including queen bed with feather mattress covering, bureau and wardrobe.

How far does the crooked chimney "crook"? - Judge for yourself! Don't worry it won’t fall over, but it does add a very unique effect to the room!

Crooked Chimney is a peaceful and charming room with beautiful water views of Linekin Bay from the room's two windows.

Adding to the charm of this room is the Vermont style fireplace which provides warmth and ambiance and is easily and safely operated.

Relax on the Bustleback Settee from the Commonwealth Collection and take in the vista of the sparkling bay or enjoy the paintings by Maine artists who have captured the varying moods of the Maine coast.

The large private bath has a tub, shower, and sink with vanity. The bathroom vanity has Shaker style doors and several drawers for storage.

Suzanne Norton's lovely hand painting of roses and vines extends into the bath creating an inviting and appealing atmosphere. The double wooden shutters allow the option of closing the lower section for privacy and leaving the upper section open for a view of Linekin Bay.

We want to thank you for your gracious hospitality. You are right this is a very special part of Maine and you are blessed with a spirit to open your home and your hearts to others. Thank you also for the extra time allowed. We walked the loop and what a beautiful, breathtaking array of visions for the senses.
