Dining Room
After a deeply restful night’s sleep awake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a breakfast worth getting up for. Larry serves a hearty breakfast to guests each morning in the dining room and sunroom. The yellow glazed walls and crisp white trim in the dining room create a cheerful room for guests to linger over breakfast. Enjoy the view of sunlight shimmering on the water of Linekin Bay and easy conversation with other guests as you are served a hot and delicious meal.
The antique oak claw-foot table, sideboard, and china cabinet with beveled glass belonged to Marti’s grandmother. The china cabinet displays a collection of our grandparent’s china. The original bird’s eye maple floor has a unique design showing the craftsmanship of a bygone era.
After a memorable day exploring the Maine coast, return to the inn for refreshments served in the dining room. Indulge in a tasty, sweet treat made by Larry and a beverage such as coffee, tea, cocoa, iced tea, or Maine organic apple cider.
kitchen
The inn’s kitchen was totally remodeled during our renovations in 1998 to create a space for Larry to prepare his delicious breakfasts. White beadborad cabinets were chosen to brighten the room and give the kitchen a relaxed, casual style, which matches Larry’s style as an innkeeper! The soft green walls and well worn maple floor glowing with polish reveal the beauty of the room. This spotless room which has the charm of the past, but the amenities of the present is where Larry concocts his rich and tasty afternoon treats.
