Linekin Bay B&B is recommended in "Karen Brown's New England - Exceptional Places to Stay 2007." Inclusion in this publication means that our inn has been recognized as being beautifully decorated, lovingly managed, and in a wonderful location. |

This large ten room home is a fine example of a 19th century Victorian era farm house. From the wide pumpkin pine boards on the floor, the ornate moldings around windows and doors, to the large rooms with high ceilings, and the detail to craftsmanship, it all came together to say "Character." |

All of the interior doors in the house are the 4 panel style.
White porcelain door handles and pewter color hinges show that the best which was
available at the time was used in building this house. The front staircase which leads to the three upstairs rooms has the original long winding rail and ornate balusters. The stair treads were stripped of their paint to reveal the original pumpkin pine boards. |

Throughout our inn guests will find original paintings and prints by
talented and award winning Boothbay artists.
These artists are Corinne McIntyre, Carlton and Joan Plummer, Ronald and Monique Parry, Tony Van Hasselt, Hilary Bartlett, and Susan Mack Bear. |

During the massive renovation project
undertaken in 1998, our goal was first and foremost to make this Bed & Breakfast
comfortable for guests, yet retain the historic character of this beautiful old house. We feel we were quite successful. |
| East Boothbay is located on a peninsula often referred to as Linekin Neck. This area is far less commercially developed than Boothbay Harbor, and therefore offers many natural and incredibly scenic views. | |
![]() Click Map to visit our Directions Page. You will find an expanded and much larger map. |
Linekin Neck juts out from the mainland and has the unique
characteristics of having the saltwater Linekin Bay on the west side, and the estuary of
the fresh water Damariscotta River on the east side. The small map on the left gives you a general view of Linekin Neck and an idea of it's proximity to Boothbay Harbor. |
